Since the Australian dollar is doing so well, I was planning to import stuff (and snacks!) from the US.
From this site. I've ordered from them before and they've always posted the items to me fast. And in a padded box with enough sticky tape to secure a house in a hurricane.

I finally quit my crappy HJ job of 2 1/2 years!
No more feeling dirty and smelling like oil and putting up with stupid crap that I shouldn't have to!
Am so full of happiness, or at least I will be when I finish on Thursday next week.
I have a temporary job as an exam supervisor lined up so that should keep my bank account going for awhile.

akdabsdbasbdjs!! *super happy otaku dance!*
I got the game Animamundi: Dark Alchemist (ohhhh! The gothic art so pretty!) in the mail today with the bonus game Exodus Guilty: vol. 1 that I ordered. Am very happy and excited though I still haven't taken off the shiny plastic wrapping.

I love this company! They are the first to localise and release games (with an actual plot) aimed at women. =D
(Note: Dad's left last week on Friday to go stay in Malaysia for awhile. Probably for about 3 months or so, it's a holiday for all of us. =3)
I just couldn't stop laughing after that. The mood was just hilarious or maybe I'm very easily amused. I think it's a bit of both. XD

11:25 pm - A quick update!
|
I have finished Gitaroo Man today! Finaaaally! Master Play mode is unlocked! And I can't stop smiiiiiling! ^_^
For those of you who don't know what Gitaroo Man is, it is a PS2 game about a boy called U-1 with a talking dog called Puma.
They go out to save the world/universe through funky musical battles (each with a different music theme)with a magical electric guitar (The Gitaroo) and lots of happy happy japanese insanity.
The gameplay involves playing the notes of each levels' song to charge up the Gitaroo and attack the opponent. Though it's hard, you'll never get the urge to hurl your controller across the room.
It is massively fun and addictive with the soundtrack being so shibby that I went and ordered a copy.
Anybody who objects to playing this at least once will be repeatedly zapped with dance-until-death rays from the 2nd stage boss while the rest of us laugh.
Now I will go off and endeavour to master the new mode which is very VERY bloody hard aka. your thumbs are mine to crushening mode.

11:03 pm - The post where I rant and whinge about work...

Just got home from work. Am physically and mentally tired. (HP/MP Down T_T)
It was one of the most hellish shifts I've ever had to work.
Usually the busy period (as I've experienced) in a shift lasts 1-1.5 hours.
This one lasted 3 hours (room was packed to the gills) and they wouldn't stop coming!
Plus there was many 6 minute waits on burgers and so forth and alot of
the customers were nasty and unintelligable with ordering their smegging food.
And they got even more pissed after waiting 6 - 15 minutes that is.
Are they freaking blind? DO I look like the one making the burgers?!
We ran out of serviettes, straws, cups, trays etc. at the counter after the first 1.5 hours.
God, must find a new job. And fast.
Everything hurts...Expecially my hands. They are still spasming. SPASMING FROM GITAROO MAN.
Must get clean now. I can't stand myself in this state.

Recieved the game Gitaroo Man on Friday evening.
Played till 3am in the morning.
Woke up later and played some more.
Thumbs are in a world of PAAAAAAIN.
I can't stop playing it because it is great.
I know it's masochistic to continue + my hands are spasming.
Must get sister to hide game from me till thumbs heal.

My hotmail junk inbox is disturbing.
I've gotten 4 emails in that folder with the names Julia, Natalie, Sarah and Jane as the senders.
The contents of the email all inviting me to 'see them nekkid via webcam'. *mindbreaks*
Why the heck do the spammers have to use the names of people I know?
I was more comfortable with the emails that wanted to sell me products to enlarge body parts which most ladies lack. >_

4:40 am - Argh! Lost my entire initial post!

I'm feeling kind of discouraged now because I had a massive update all finished and now I just can't be bothered typing all those paragraphs out again.
Main points of the lost post was that my exams have ended and that I'm on the lookout for a new job since the one I have now really sucks. I'd whinge about it but it's 4am in the morning and the details of most of what I typed initially has been lost. ;_;
Also I promised to post up the details of the Hyper Game Magazine contests but never got around to it till now. All accepted entries close on the 15th of June so there's still abit of time to get a letter or two in. I originally planned to post the scans I did of the magazine but since I have no idea how to upload images on LJ anymore it looks like I'll have to type it all out.

By the way, never marathon watch all of Furuba in one sitting till 3am in the morning. It gives you the weirdest dreams. When I came out of my accounting exam I noticed my bag had been unzipped and my stuff was tipping
out in a haphazard fashion when I distinctly remember zipping it closed right before I went
to the exam hall.
I am so pissed off right now. Some stupid bitches went through my stuff and stole my phone.
To add injury to insult, they also took the time to take the plastic cover and phone strap off my phone which they left behind.
Not only do they filch my beloved mobile, they also crumpled my study notes and went through the little bag which I keep my bank and library cards in.
They didn't take the bankcard but I still feel mad at the thought of them pawing through my things.
In fact, I'd rather they took the bankcard since it's worth so much less then the phone.
How low is that? To rob somebody while they're sitting through an exam!
If the Getbackers were real, I'd so hire them right now. I don't care how much pizza it would take.

Had the weirdest dream last night considering I'm not a Tolkien fan.
It involved perfect!Legolas and 80yr old Aragorn standing in some middle-earth forest deep in discussion.
I think it went something like this.
*DREAM SEQUENCE*
Legolas: *hysterical* I'M GETTING OLD AND LOSING MY LOOKS!
Aragorn: *looking his age*...you look the same as you did 50 years ago.
Legolas: I'M OLD AND BITTER!! Just look at me! So OLD!! SO BITTER!! I'll be left all alone! *wails*

At recess a bunch of girls from some of the other YR 12 forms asked politely to look at my mobile phone bag.
That wasn't too unreasonable so I let them.
They tampered with my mobile without my permission, entered their number into it, and then started to go though my sms messages + read them out.
They also hinted that they thought I needed a life.
How inconsiderate and rude! Needless to say, I was pissed.
While trying to get my mobile back (smiling politely all the while) I 'accidentally' scratched some of them hard and twisted the wrist of the girl with my mobile quite painfully.
Oh dear. Am so Sorry. =P
Went back to my computer still smiling politely.

I felt a little bad afterwards...when did I get so violent and petty?
I notice that all the Chocolate fundraiser people tend to flock around in bunches and ask you to buy chocolate from them at the exact time that you have no money. When you do have money and an immense craving for something sweet, they are NOWHERE in sight. SO annoying. >_<
Fought Jane for the only copy of Royal Assassin (Farseers trilogy - Book 2) in the library. Jane, being extremely gracious, allowed me to borrow it before her.

English class today was actually quite interesting today. Am scared. O_O
